I have always purchased a repair manual for my golf cart and the investment has saved me hundreds of dollars in repairs over the years. With specific instructions on how to maintain your golf cart so less repairs are needed has also been helpful. These books are specific to your golf cart make, model and year.
Types of Manuals
1. Golf Cart Owner's Manual
An owner's manual is provided to anyone who buys a new golf cart or can be found on line for free for the Yamaha or EZ Go golf carts.
This manual focuses on tips for operating your golf cart safely, general maintenance and sometimes tips on easy repair problems. This is not the manual you want if you are looking for a golf cart repair manual.
2. Golf Cart Parts Manual
Do you need a golf cart parts manual? Not really. Many of the online golf cart parts stores will look up the part number for you, if you can tell them the name of your part and the make, model and year of your golf cart. I've never needed one even though I've ordered lots of golf cart parts on-line.
3. Golf Cart Repair Manuals
Golf cart repair manuals need to be purchased. Although they run from $50 - $150, if you want to do your own golf cart repair they are worth every penny. I've always purchased a golf cart repair manual for each golf cart that I've owned.
Club Car Service Manual
I always keep my Club Car service manual right on my workbench in the garage and refer to it quite often.
The Club Car service manual is not available for free on line or in a pdf file. Don't bother contacting your local authorized Club Car dealer because when I checked around none of them kept them in stock - however, they could order one for you.
So you might as well do that yourself. These golf cart repair manuals normally cost from $50 - $75.

EZGO Golf Cart Manual
The EZGO golf cart manual for owners can be found on line as a free PDF file from the E-Z-Go website. The EZ Go website calls it a service manual which is not the same as a repair manual.
To obtain a repair manual you can purchase a hard copy Ezgo golf cart service manual or for less you can download a PDF copy and print it yourself.

As of yet I have not been able to find a free, downloadable Harley Davidson Golf Cart Manual.
However, they are available for purchase for around $40 - $80. You can purchase parts manuals or service manuals.

Buy Your Service Manual On-Line
Although some golf cart manuals can be downloaded as a PDF file, a good ol' hard copy works best for me. I keep mine in the garage near the golf cart for a handy reference.
