  • I can't recall much changing in terms of loot with Ghost Mode, it's been awhile since I used it. There's another overhaul mod made by the guy who is a gameplay designer on Witcher 3 and created overhaul mods for Witcher 1 and 2, which urged CDPR to hire him, and it's also another option to consider.
  • 3 points 3 years ago If you want an actually working game without bugs and with many improvements that is in keeping with the vanilla design, then use Ghost Mode. If you want the game to be different, use W3EE.
  • The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut is free forever via GOG Galaxy. To get CD Projekt's fantasy role-playing game, you have to download the GOG Galaxy app, go to 'recent' view and click.
  • The renewed interest in the game thanks to the TV show seems to have set mod gears in motion for The Witcher 3 once more. Work on Ghost Mode continues, and I’m sure we’ll see more efforts made to blur the lines between CD Projekt’s interpretation of Geralt and Cavill’s version.
Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition Vs Ghost ModeHello!

Here I am playing Witcher 3 on Death March difficulty with the difficulty increasing Ghost Mode mod (among other mods such as Preparations, etc.). It was my first time streaming Witcher 3 on.

Witcher 3 Complete Edition Review

I'm having a hard time deciding between using either the Ghost Mode mod or Enhanced Edition mod for my next playthrough. I would try them both, but I feel like they each require some extensive time playing with both in order to really appreciate them, and I would rather just listen to the thoughts of other players and get my playthrough started already.
Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition Vs Ghost ModeMy main concern with each mod is:

Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition Mod

  • For Ghost Mode's combat, is it still just Quen - Dodge - Dodge - Quen Again if Hit - Dodge? This was the main gripe I had with vanilla, even on Death March the combat lacked depth and was really easy after the first few levels.
  • Enhanced Edition's combat overhaul looks great, and seems like it would require the player to be more active and adaptable in their combat style, but how polished is the mod? Any issues/bugs with any aspect of the game? Ghost Mode seems like the more polished mod.

Whether you've played one of them or both, please sell me your thoughts on either mod.
